Actor, author, artist and TV personality, Sean is best known for his role as ‘Martin Platt’ which he played for over 20 years on ITV’s ‘Coronation Street’ (peaking at over 22 million viewers).

Other acting credits include Waterloo Road, The Royal, Casualty, Dalziel and Pascoe. He has made appearances on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, This Morning, Eggheads, Pointless Celebrities and Celebrity Masterchef. He also had his own cookery and travel series on Channel 5 – The Great Northern Cookbook which had an accompanying book, published by Hodder. He has since gone on to write two more cookbooks – ‘Cheddar Gorged’ and ‘Jazz Food’.

Sean is also a multi-award winning cheesemaker founding Artisan Farm Cheese and tours the UK and worldwide with his popular cookery demos and cheese workshops.
