Sean is best known for his role as ‘Martin Platt’ which he played for over 20 years in Coronation Street (once peaking at over 22 million viewers).

Other acting credits include Waterloo Road, The Royal, Casualty, Dalziel and Pascoe. He has made appearances on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, This Morning, Eggheads, Pointless Celebrities and Celebrity Masterchef.

Sean is also a multi-award-winning cheesemaker, owning the Saddleworth Cheese Company.
